We are enthusiastic advocates of the virtual consultancy, using fast broadband communications to conduct entirely web-based design projects. Collaborative tools allow concurrent discussions to take place in real time and it’s now even easier to share 3D data. Our clients find that this method of working adds rigour to the project schedule, ensuring regular reviews and creating better awareness within the participating teams.
Many of our overseas clients have seen cost and time reductions as a result of this approach to project management, and our UK clients are now also starting to respond favourably, especially those who manufacture in SEA, and who wish to have a continual dialogue with their partners during the design phase as well as at production level.
